I'm a pianist who has played professionally in the Buffalo area for the past 35 years. I've played a broad range of styles and in the past ten years have
returned to my acoustic jazz roots. After receiving training in theory and piano at the Community Music School of
Buffalo I studied jazz with the late Russell Messina (student and associate of Gordon Delamont, Canadian theorist, author and teacher) whose students
include Don Menza and Tom Schuman among others.
I perform solo, duo with acoustic bass and trio (bass and percussion). Frequent
venues include the Buffalo and Erie County Historical Society, Burchfield-Penney Art Center and Muse Restaurant at the Albright Knox Art
Gallery. I also play on site for business functions and in private homes.
